I'm Just Sayin...
Elin Nordegren (aka The Ex Ms. Tiger Woods) Is The Real Home Wrecker
1/10/2012 1:04:12 PM
Elin Nordegren, the former Mrs. Tiger Woods, recently bought a beautiful, 17,000 sq. ft. sprawling mansion in Palm Beach, Florida. What she did to this beauty defies logic. Check it out, and decide for yourself if this was good business sense.... or revenge. Click here to read more and to leave a comment.

I just sent a comment on the article's webpage. I don't know if you'll find it naive... ?

Actually, I thought it was his home, or something left out of their marriage, even a gift of his or something. It would make sense, if she demolished it, and turned it to dust… I have heard similar stories like this, when the poor husband has to re-build his whole house in order to please his new wife, who can’t tolerate anything reminiscent of the old woman. But in this case, if she bought it all alone, and reminds her of nothing relevant to him, then I can’t solve the puzzle. Probably she really wanted that piece of land, not the house. Or she wanted to create our blog! That's right! Maybe she is in love with you! I just thought of that! :-)

I just thought that was a huge waste of resources to build a new home to suit her needs. Why did she have to live there on that particular lot of land when she can clearly buy a home anywhere in the world. I always thought that her divorce settlement was too outrageous. It does'nt take that much money to support her and their 2 kids. I wonder if she started a foundation to help people with sex addiction, since it was the source of her marriage to fail. It would be nice to see her lobby against the porn industry for all of morality, I would be right behind on that one. She has all the resources to affect change I sure hope she does something to help this nationwide epidemic with men and women alike.

Not naïve at all, Marcia. You are entitled to your thoughts on the issue, and that's what starts a discussion. I thank you for leaving the comment; that's what really counts.

When I contrast Ms. Nordegren's behavior with the struggle many of us have endured just to survive, I find her act to be immoral. It may have been legal, but what's legal isn't always moral or ethical. It's yet another indication of the increasing gap between the state of mind of the wealthy and the poor. It begs for the question to be answered, "Am I my brother's keeper?"

Well, Marcia, I’m sure stranger things have happened. I’ve just never heard of them. :)

How true, Michael. Another example of the haves vs the have nots.

So, stranger things than that... let's think. Maybe she wants to build a factory...? Maybe it's a prime spot for a factory. Where lots of people will find work. Maybe it will be a private airport...? Maybe her new love is a pilot, and he can't live without a built-in airport, so she has to provide it. That's what love is about, huh! :-)

No, Marcia, no factory and no airport. Nope; she's building an almost identical mansion.

At least she is giving work to some builders... even to demolish and build again, that's something. Like we are born, then die, and other (same) people will be born. It sounds like creation. What do you think? I always thought the question, why God made us to multiply, and not remained with the good company of Adam and Eve? I can never find an answer to that question :-)
