Dear Dr. Archer,
It was great to read about your book in yesterday's The Baton Rouge Advocate in the article From Stigma To Strength.
While I've been involved mainly in gerontological emphasis per social work clientele, I think I have learned more overall about behavioral health concerns through my own personal and familial experiences.
I applaud you for putting together the book and will order one today. I have some stories that I thought you'd like per my Author'sDen link, especially the following:
1. ADD (Adoration Deficit Disorder)
2. Coping With The Holiday Blues
3. Signs and Symbols of our Faith
4. Using a Health Risk Appraisal to Improve Health Care for the Elderly
5. Ya Picked A Fine Time To FIND Me Lucille
Take care, and Godspeed!
Keith
Dear Keith,
Thank you for sharing your blogs with us. I commend you for stressing the importance of faith. Sometimes faith is a very difficult thing to grasp when faced with traumatic or trying times, yet it's so important.
Most think that faith only relates to religion, but it carries across all endeavors and in conjunction with hope defines the psychological survivor.
